The parameter value has the following meaning:

Number of cycles
This parameter is identical to the parameter of the same
name under the key (see section 4.7.1)
and determines how many times cycle programs should
be run. As access to the key is blocked
while a program is running, the number of cycles can
subsequently be changed here.
