Field

Description

MAC

The MAC address of the destination.

NOTE
If the entry is type U (indicating that the destination is this Brocade device), the address consists of
zeroes.

Type

The type of host entry, which can be one or more of the following:

• D - Dynamic
• P - Permanent
• F - Forward
• U - Us
• C - Complex Filter
• W - Wait ARP
• I - ICMP Deny
• K - Drop
• R - Fragment
• S - Snap Encap

Port

The port through which this device reaches the destination. For destinations that are located on this
device, the port number is shown as "n/a".

VLAN

Indicates the VLANs the listed port is in.

Pri

The QoS priority of the port or VLAN.

Displaying the IP route table

To display the IP route table, enter the show ip route command at any CLI level.
