Windows XP
In Windows XP:
1) Go to Control Panel.
2) Select Add Or Remove Programs.
3) Click Add/Remove Windows Components on the left hand side of the window.
4) Under Internet Information Services, click Details and make sure the following
options are enabled:
• Common Files.
• Internet Information Services Snap-In.
• World Wide Web Service.
o Scripts virtual directory
o World Wide Web Service.
Windows Vista
In Windows Vista:
1) Go to Control Panel.
2) Select Programs and Features.
3) Click Turn Windows Features on or off on the left hand side of the window.
4) Under Internet Information Services, make sure the following options are enabled:
• Web Management Tools
o IIS 6 Management Compatibility
 IIS 6 Management Console
 IIS6 Scripting Tools
 IIS6 WMI Compatibility
 IIS Metabase and IIS6 configuration compatibility
o IIS Management Console
• World Wide Web Services
o Application Development Features
 Net Extensibility
 ASP.NET
 ISAPI Extensions
 ISAPI Filters
o Common HTTP Features
 Default Document
 Directory Browsing
