5.2 Handling the modules
• The power supply should be switched on before any signal voltages are applied.
• Modules and components should always be stored and carried in conductive
packing (e.g. metallised plastic boxes, metal containers).
• If the packing is not conductive, the modules should be wrapped in conductive
material. For example, conductive foam rubber or aluminium foil can be used.
