upgrade-firmware
Disables or reenables automatic upgrade of a MAP access point boot
firmware.
Syntax —
set ap auto upgrade-firmware {enable | disable}
ap auto
— Configures firmware upgrades for the MAP configuration
profile (See “set ap auto” on page 410.)
enable
— Enables automatic firmware upgrades.
disable
— Disables automatic firmware upgrades.
Defaults — Automatic firmware upgrades of MAP access points are
enabled by default.
Access — Enabled.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 3.0. Option auto added for
configuration of the MAP configuration profile. Version 6.0 removed the
dap option.
Usage — When the feature is enabled on an WX port, a MAP access
point connected to that port upgrades its boot firmware to the latest
version stored on the WX switch.
Examples — The following command disables automatic firmware
upgrades on the MAP access point connected to port 6:
WX1200# set ap 6 upgrade-firmware disable
