OMMANDS
dynamic
— Displays dynamic entries. A dynamic entry is automatically
removed through aging or after a reboot, reset, or power cycle.
system
— Displays system entries. A system entry is added by MSS.
For example, the authentication protocols can add entries for wired
and wireless authentication users.
all
— Displays all entries in the database, or all the entries that match
a particular port or ports or a particular VLAN.
port
port-list — Destination port(s) for which to display entries.
Defaults — None.
Access — All.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Usage — To display the entire forwarding database, enter the display fdb
command without options. To display only a portion of the database, use
optional parameters to specify the types of entries you want to display.
Examples — The following command displays all entries in the
forwarding database:
WX4400# display fdb all
* = Static Entry. + = Permanent Entry. # = System Entry.

The top line of the display identifies the characters to distinguish among
the entry types.
The following command displays all entries that begin with the MAC
address glob 00:
WX4400# display fdb 00:*
* = Static Entry. + = Permanent Entry. # = System Entry.
