update-interval
Changes how often a WX sends queries to the NTP servers for updates.
Syntax —
set ntp update-interval
seconds
seconds
— Number of seconds between queries. You can specify
from 16 through 1,024 seconds.
Defaults — The default NTP update interval is 64 seconds.
Access — Enabled.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 3.0.
Examples — The following command changes the NTP update interval
to 128 seconds:
WX4400# set ntp update-interval 128
success: change accepted.

community
Configures a community string for SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c.
For SNMPv3, use the set snmp usm command to configure an SNMPv3
user. SNMPv3 does not use community strings.
Syntax —
set snmp community
comm-string
access
{read-only | read-notify | notify-only | read-write |
notify-read-write
}
comm-string
— Name of the SNMP community. Specify between 1
and 32 alphanumeric characters, with no spaces.
read-only
— Allows an SNMP management application using the
string to get (read) object values on the switch but not to set (write)
them.
