Virtual Controller
Clustering
Configuration
New commands support configuration of virtual controller clustering on a
mobility domain.
set cluster mode
Enable virtual controller cluster configuration on WXs in a mobility
domain.
Syntax —
set cluster mode {enable | disable} preempt {enable
| disable}
Defaults — None.
Access — Enabled.
History —Introduced in MSS Version 7.0.
Usage — You must enable cluster mode on all WXs that are members of
the cluster.
Examples — The following command enables cluster mode on a WX in a
mobility domain:
WX# set cluster mode enable
success:change accepted
set cluster preempt
Use this command on the secondary seed of the cluster to allow the
secondary seed to become active if the primary seed fails.
