Scenario analysis

To meet the application requirements, you can use the MPLS management component to create and
manage the MPLS network. Import P1, P2, and P3 to the MPLS Management, and batch enable MPLS
and MPLS LDP for these devices. The system automatically maps out a network topology of the MPLS
network constructed by the imported devices. Based on the topology, create and deploy a static LSP.
Then, you can view the label usage statistics, learn the LSP traffic statistics, and set LSP traffic thresholds.

Operation procedure

1.

Create an MPLS network.

a.

Click Service > MPLS Management > Device Management from the tabular navigation system
on the top of the IMC main page.

b.

Click the Import Devices button. Import P1, P2, and P3 to the MPLS management. (Assume that
the devices are already imported to the IMC platform.)

c.

Select P1, P2, and P3 in the Device Management page, and then click the Enable MPLS/LDP
button to batch enable MPLS and MPLS LDP for P1, P2, and P3.

2.

Create and deploy LSPs.

a.

Click Service > MPLS Management > LSP Management from the tabular navigation system on
the top of the IMC main page.

b.

Click the Add Static LSP button.

c.

Click the Manual Deployment tab.

d.

In the Topology pane, right click P1 and then click Set as Ingress.
