Configuring an MPLS TE explicit path
An explicit path is a set of nodes. You can create an explicit path for an MPLS TE tunnel by specifying the
nodes for the tunnel to traverse. Configuring an explicit path is not necessary in static CR-LSP tunnel
configuration, and is optional in dynamic tunnel configuration.
To configure an MPLS TE explicit path:
1.
Click Service > MPLS TE Manager > Explicit Path Mng from the tabular navigation system on the
top of the IMC main page.
2.
In the Explicit Path List section of the page, click Add.
The Add Explicit Path page appears, as shown in
Figure 47 Add Explicit Path page
3.
Click Select next to Device Name, specify part or the entire name of the ingress device, and then
click Query. Devices that match the description appear in the Device Query List section of the page.
Select it and click OK.
4.
In the Explicit Path Name field, enter the name of the explicit path.
5.
Select Enabled from the Enable State list.
6.
