A.14 monitor command command
The
monitor command
command allows you to monitor the progress of the specified command.
When you issue a command such as
configure server
,
boot server
,
shutdown server
,
scan
mac
,
create filesystem
,
configure array
, or
unconfigure array
, the progress of the
command is monitored for changes in state, and the results are displayed on the CLI. You can stop the CLI
display by pressing
Ctrl/c
—this has no effect on the command being executed. If you want to resume
monitoring the command, enter the
monitor command
command.
Syntax
monitor command command_id
Arguments
command_id
Required. Specify the ID of the command whose progress you want to monitor.
The command ID is displayed when the command is initially run. You can also
use the
show commands
command (see Section A.20.5) to determine the
command ID.
Example
The following example displays (on the CLI) the progress of the command that has the ID of
3
:
sfs> monitor command 3

The
pause filesystem
command is not supported in HP SFS Version 2.2 and has been removed.
