Look at the server and confirm that the power has been turned off. Only one server in the system
should be turned off at this point.
d.
Turn on the power to the server, as follows:
sfs> boot server south2

show server
command to verify that the power to the server has been turned on, as
follows:
sfs> show server south2
Name: south2
Primary Role: mds
Backup Server: south1

Repeat these steps for each server except the administration server.

When you have confirmed that the power management is working correctly for the MDS server and
all of the Object Storage Servers, verify that the power management is working correctly for the
administration server by performing the following steps, where
south1
is the administration server:
a.
Log in to the MDS server.
b.
Turn off the power to the administration server, as follows:
sfs> shutdown server south1 wait=0
c.
Use the
show server
command to verify that the power to the administration server has been
turned off, as follows:
sfs> show server south1
Name: south1
Primary Role: adm
Backup Server: south2

.
Power: off
.
.
.
d.
