Using the configure server command
As described in Table 7-1, when a parameter value is changed, the
configure server
command must
be run for the affected servers. In some cases, only one server is affected; in other cases, the administration
and MDS servers are affected; and in a few cases, all servers are affected. Using the information provided
in Table 7-1, determine which server or servers are affected by the parameter you are changing, then run
the
configure server
command as appropriate, in one of the following ways:
CAUTION:
Do not use the
configure server all
command to update the servers in this scenario.

If only one server is affected, enter the
configure server
command for that server, as shown in
the following example, where the administration server (
south1
) is configured:
sfs> configure server south1
