Using Text Commands
From the command line use the tans command to configure TPAD answering. To display current set-
tings for a TANS instance enter the command:
tans ? where is 0-15. To change the value of a parameter use the command
in the format:
tans
The parameters and values are:

For example, to set the Parity to Even for TANS 2 you would enter:
tans 2 parity 1
