Upon completion of the transfer the transfer dialog box will
disappear. The CRC of the new firmware file will be calculated and
displayed. If the CRC is good an “OK” will appear beside the CRC
and the user will be prompted for input. Pressing any key on the
keyboard will return the user to the bootloader main menu.

Power on Reset IntelliVAC
The power on reset option allows the user to restart the IntelliVAC
unit without removing power. This allows the user to keep the hyper
terminal window open and observe the boot up sequence. The
correct boot up sequence for a unit with valid firmware is to display
the bootloader menu for a period of approximately 1 second then run
the application code. The user can determine when the application
code is running by observing the Module status LED. The module
status LED is orange when in bootloader mode and green when the
application code is running.
Updating IntelliVAC Plus Application Code
The most common method of updating the application code of the
IntelliVAC Plus module is using a DeviceNet connection to the
module, and Control flash software. Alternatively the firmware can
be updated using RS-485 interface similar to the IntelliVAC base
module.
