Mask HIM/PC
Logic mask 3 is considered a test and diagnostic state. As such if
network communication is lost when operating with logic mask 3
selected the unit will always reset regardless of the selected loss of
communication state parameter.
Note:
Logic mask 0 is not affected by a loss of communication
regardless of whether the “HOLD STATE” or “RESET
STATE” options are selected since this logic mask accepts
commands only from local HW I/O.
Multi-Contactor Control Bus (MC)
An MC system is capable of controlling up to four (4) IntelliVAC
MC units with one (1) IntelliVAC Plus unit being the main
controller. In an MC system the address of each of the IntelliVAC
MC units must be correct so that there will be the correct number of
units in the particular MC configuration with no duplicate addresses
selected. The address is set by DIP switches on the MC module that
is attached to each IB unit in the IntelliVAC MC unit. The IB unit
that is attached to the IE unit in an IntelliVAC Plus will always be
address 1 and the IE unit will always be address 0. See Table 8.H for
a description of the DIP switch settings. The 7-segment LED display
on the IntelliVAC Plus unit, will display address 1 and not 0 (the
address of the IE unit is not displayed). Other IntelliVAC MC units
will display the address selected by the DIP switches. If the
addresses selected are not in the range of 2 to 5, then the display will
remain blank.
