Matrix Display Connection
Different matrix displays may require different connection methods. A typical connection
method for Daktronics displays uses a 9-pin male to

" cable (Daktronics part # 0A-1240-
0032, 50'). Connect the 9-pin male end to J5 RTD PORT (Figure 31). Connect the male

plug into the appropriate connector on the wall plate.
Network Connections
The ETHERNET jack allows Real-Time Data (RTD) to be sent over a local area network and
connection to the Daktronics Pro Swimming software (version 3.0+) and Hy-Tek MEET
MANAGER (version 5.0+).
Connect a Cat5 Ethernet cable between the ETHERNET jack on the OmniSport 2000 console
(Figure 34) and a network hub (Figure 35).
Connect a Cat5 Ethernet cable between the network hub (Figure 36) and the Daktronics Pro
Swimming software, Hy-Tek MEET MANAGER software, and/or Daktronics matrix display
control computer (Figure 37). Connect as many computers as the network hub supports.
