In this mode the Maximum Power fields have no effect.

Allocation mode
In this mode the user allocates the amount of power that each port may reserve. The allocated/reserved power for each port/PD
is specified in the Maximum Power fields. The ports are shut down when total reserved powered exceeds the amount of power
that the power supply can deliver.
In this mode the port power is not turned on if the PD requests more power the available.

Consumption mode
In this mode the ports are shut down when the actual power consumption for all ports exceeds the amount of power that the
power supply can deliver or if the actual power consumption for a given port exceeds the reserved power for that port. The ports
are shut down according to the ports priority. If two ports have the same priority the port with the highest port number is shut
down.

Priority mode
In this mode the user assign the priority to the ports/PD. When the total PoE power consumption request is over the allowed
power supply limitation, the system shut down PoE ports by port priority setting.
Ethernet Port Configuration
This section allows the user to inspect and configure the current PoE port settings , screen is shown Figure 4-16-2.

Allows user enable or disable PoE function. It will causes all of PoE ports supply
or not supply power.

There are five modes for configuring how the ports/PDs may reserve power and
when to shut down ports.

Priority mode
The default PoE management mode is “Consumption mode”.
• Power Supply Budget
[W]
Set limit value of the total PoE port provided power to the PDs.
For GE-DSSG-244-POE, the available max. value is 220, for NS3601-24P/4S,
the available max. value is 380.
• Temperature
Threshold
Allows setting over temperature protection threshold value. It system
temperature was over it then system lower total PoE power budget automatically.
• PoE Usage Threshold Allows setting how much PoE power budget could be limited.
