7.9 Installing the Absolute-Data Backup Battery (Optional)

As shown to the left, install the supplied battery holder at the
bottom of the controller.

Insert the battery into the holder.

Connect the battery connector.
Pay attention to the connector orientation.
(The connector hook should face the right side.)
Caution: If the main power cannot be turned on immediately

after the encoder cable has been connected, do not
connect the battery connector.
