The following table lists the files on the SC III. These files are installed on your
hard disk.. The CFN3 software is distributed on 3.5-inch floppy diskettes,
labeled Release Applications. If you have a network router, such as Buypass or
VisaNet, for credit and debit card verification, the router software is included
on Application disk.
Note: The distributed files change occasionally, so this appendix may not be
completely up-to-date. However, most of the files on the diskettes are
described here.

BIN Directory: Disk-based Commands And Command Files
Disk-based Command Files
FRAMOS.BIN The CFN3 operating system program.
FRAMOS.CFG The CFN3 configuration file
(not shipped with updates).
CRASH.DOC Warning message printed by CRASH.CMD in the event of an
operating system crash. May be edited.
BACKTRAN.BIN Backs up transactions only.
CHKDSK.BIN Checks and repairs disk directory.
CONSOLE.BIN Console configuration program.
DUMP.BIN Allows technician to print areas of memory.
FIND.BIN Looks for string in text file.
FRED.BIN Full screen text editor.
KERMIT.BIN Send or receive file from another computer.
PRODMRG.BIN Merge information for downloading to the Profit Point.
PUMP.BIN Pump configuration program.
RESTORE.BIN Restore backed-up system tables and transaction data.
STATUS.BIN Display system status information.
SYS_PAR.BIN System configuration program.
