A standard or series of standards must be prepared from the list of analytes to
be quantified. If practical, prepare all standards in a single sample. If not, the
template/library can be built from multiple files. If possible, prepare standards
for multi level calibration by serial dilution. Analytes can be prepared at the
same concentration for all compounds or at different concentrations. When
using individual concentrations, an initial concentration of each analyte must be
entered into the library using the method editor. Additional concentration levels
are then processed by using the dilution factor to calculate the concentration at
each level.
