8.3 Installing and Updating the HAPSITE Smart Plus
and Plus IQ Software
The steps for installing and updating the Plus IQ software are the same.
CAUTION
The most important point to remember is to always
update the HAPSITE Plus software prior to updating the
Plus IQ software on the computer.
8.3.1 Updating the HAPSITE Smart Plus Software
The HAPSITE Smart Plus is delivered with factory-installed software. These
instructions explain how to upgrade that software.
The HAPSITE will need to be connected to the Laptop computer and
communicating. Refer to
Section 2.4.6, Connect Laptop (if desired), on page 2-10
if the HAPSITE and Laptop are not connected. See Section 8.6, Establishing
Communications between the HAPSITE and Laptop Computer, on page 8-13 if
communications need to be established.
For software installation instructions, refer to the instructions that are located on the
software disk.
