2) Check to see if the embosser has a yellow mark across its knuckles and rocker arm. If it has been
marked, set the knuckles to those settings. Otherwise, set the knuckles to “light” defaults:
a) Set the bottom surface of the top knuckle to -2. It may be helpful to turn the knuckle 3 clicks to
read the setting, then turn it back.
b) Set the top surface of the bottom knuckle to +1. It may be helpful to turn the knuckle 1 click to
read the setting, then turn it back.
3) Check to see if the embosser has a sticker on its base saying what top and bottom embosser cam angle
settings to use as defaults. If it has a sticker, use those settings in the following steps; otherwise, set
the top and bottom embosser cam angle for FontID1, 2, and 4 to 160 and FontID3 to 110 as follows:
a) In the ExpressCard Utility, navigate to
Menu
>
Settings
>
Edit Config
to open the
Configuration Editing
password page.
b) Enter password

, then
7654321
to open the
Configuration Editing
page.
c) Scroll to the
Embosser > CamAdjustments
section.
d) Repeat these steps for the FontID1 CamAngleTop, FontID1 CamAngleBottom, FontID2
CamAngleTop, FontID2 CamAngleBottom, FontID4 CamAngleTop, and FontID4
CamAngleBottom (6 settings total):
i) Select the number below the name of the value. A keypad will appear on the right side of the
screen.
