To re-install the embedded PC’s SSD, follow these steps:
1) Insert the SSD into its slot at a slight incline. The end opposite the connector should be slightly
higher than the end that goes into the connector, as shown in Figure 4-101.
2) Use the No. 1 Philips screwdriver to insert and tighten the two screws that secure the SSD.
3) Re-install the embedded PC by reversing the steps you followed to pull it out partway. Use section
4.15 How to Remove / Re-install the Embedded PC as a reference. Depending on the situation, it
may be necessary to perform additional software or hardware configuration steps as directed by your
reseller, MagTek Support Services, or MagTek Engineering, BEFORE powering up the device.
4) Perform any additional service that requires the device to be powered off and open.
5) Close the top access door.
6) Re-attach the power cable, network cable, and any security hardware.
7) Power up the device.
8) From the touchscreen, navigate to Menu > Samples , create a sample card, and make sure the device
functions properly and the sample looks correct.
