To reset the Service Processor
1. Click Reset on the Service Processors page.
The Service Processors are rebooted and the connection to the remote console
interface is lost.
2. Refresh the page and log on.
The connection to the partition remote console interface is restored.
To take a dump of Service Processor data
1. Click Dump .
A dump file is created that includes all saved hardware state data for the partition.
Data is collected in a single file in compressed format.

The dump file is downloaded from management firmware to your workstation; from there
you can send it to the support center for analysis. The file continues to exist in
management firmware until another dump is performed, when the older file is
overwritten.
