The EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor LCDs on the fronts of cells and the LEDs on the
backs either flash or turn off.
This function is similar to the hardware locator in the cell remote console interface and
the chassis identification (ID) button for the cell on the EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor
interface (refer to
4.1.2 Operational Buttons ). The differences are
• The hardware locator in the partition remote console interface identifies all cells in
the partition.
• The hardware locator in the cell remote console interface and the
EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor ID button identify only that cell.
3.5.7. FRU Inventory
Management firmware can display the following information about field-replaceable
units (FRU):
• Chassis information: type, part number, and serial number
• Board information: manufacturer, product name, serial number, and part number
• Product information: manufacturer, product name, serial number, version, part
number, and asset tag
Figure 3-7 shows the partition field replaceable units (FRU) inventory page.
