3.5.9. Power Settings
The power settings are shown in
Figure 3-9
. They control how power is applied to the
partition and, consequently, how the partition starts, as follows:
•
Power cycle interval
This value is the number of seconds that the partition remains off during a power
cycle command.
•
Do not power off the cells in this partition on the next power down
When you power down a partition, DC power is removed from the cells. If you do
not want to remove DC power, select the check box, and DC power is not removed
from cells the next time this partition is powered down. This one-time setting is
cleared afterwards.
•
Power restore policy
The power restore policy determines how DC power is applied to the cells after AC
power is turned on for the partition. It affects how partitions start. Select one of the
following rules:

DC stays off when AC is applied to the cells in this partition (default)
DC power stays off when AC power is applied to cells in the partition (default).
The partition does not start automatically. You need to start the partition
