immediate attention. The following definitions and relations of threshold values are
illustrated in
Figure 9-1

Upper-limit critical (major) value. The status is critical if the operating data exceeds
this value.
•
Upper-limit warning (minor) value. The status is warning if the operating data
exceeds this value.
•
Lower-limit critical (major) value. The status is critical if the operating data drops
below this value.
•
Lower-limit warning (minor) value. The status is warning if the operating data drops
below this value.

When a measurement exceeds the warning (minor) threshold, a warning message
appears in the AlertViewer. The icons in the DataViewer and Operation Window change
from green to yellow. When the measurement exceeds the fatal (major) threshold, an
error message appears in the AlertViewer. The icons in the DataViewer and Operation
Window change from yellow to red.
