When enabled, adds newly available cell resources to a running partition (refer to
3.5.20 Fault Information
). Typically, this command is disabled.
The power restore policy, the power cycle interval, and the Do not power off cells on
the next power down command
check box can affect many power commands. You
can change these settings on the partition settings page (refer to
3.5.9 Power Settings
).

3.5.3. Submitting and Monitoring Progress of Commands
To submit a command and monitor its progress
1. Navigate to the remote console interface for the partition.
2. Click the button for the desired command.
A dialog box explaining the action might appear for some commands.
If the partition is in an improper state for the command that is submitted, an error
dialog box appears. Click OK to close the dialog box, correct the error, and submit
the command again.
3. If a dialog box appears, click OK to continue.
Note: Click Cancel if you do not want to perform the action.
A separate window that contains the possible partition states opens to indicate
progress, as shown in
Figure 3-3
. The current partition state is highlighted as the
command executes. The window is updated every second.
