10.4.2. Viewing Fault Messages
If the main screen shows that faults occurred, press the OK button on the
EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor to display the main menu. An option to view faults appears,
as shown in the following figure.

Select View Faults and press OK to view the fault information. The display looks similar
to the following figure, where

The FRU name and part number appear on the first two lines.

A reference to a servicing guide on the following lines, which means one of the
following:

For customers, the User’s Guide
-
For service representatives, the Service Guide
y
A down arrow appears if additional fault messages are available.

If a hardware problem occurs, a message is displayed on the EXPRESSSCOPE®
Monitor LCD on the front of the cell. The display identifies the failed unit, sometimes with
abbreviated language.
