10.2. Determine the Affected System and Partition from An
Alert
Receiving a system alert might be your first notification that a system problem exists.
The first step is to examine the alert to identify the system and partition that has the
problem.
10.2.1. Viewing Alerts Issued by Management Firmware
Management firmware issues alerts from events and faults according to the configured
alert types and destinations.
The information in the alert depends on the configured type of alert. Use information on
the partition summary, sensor readings, and event log pages to identify the actual event
that triggered the alert. Refer to the User’s Guide for more information.
E-mail Alerts
