5 Lighting

5.1 Use daylighting or sky lighting with dual-glazed low-“e” glass.
5.2 Install dimming controls for areas close to windows.
5.3 Install dimming controls for areas with skylights.
5.4 Install high-effi ciency electronic ballasts.
5.5 Install high-pressure sodium lighting in selected areas.
5.6 Install LED exit signs.
5.7 Install LED traffi c signals.
5.8 Install low-pressure sodium lighting in selected areas.
5.9 Replace interior and exterior lighting.

5.10 Make lighting control improvements.
5.11 Install lighting for parking lots or athletic fi elds.
