Appendix A: The iTX Import Protocol
Appendix A: The iTX Import Protocol
Through the iTX Import Protocol, you can import clip lists, schedules and wipe lists into the iTX
system. You ingest them into the system by placing them in the Inbox folder on the Media
Store.
In this section, we show you the format for the following files:
•
Clip lists (.ocl files), consisting of all the information iTX needs for the video clips.
•
Schedules (.osc files), containing all the information iTX needs to play out a program.
•
Wipe lists (.wpl files), consisting of a list of video clips you want to delete from the
database.
For more information about the iTX Import Protocol, contact iTX Support.
Formatting clip lists
Clip lists are built from a series of video clips.
Each item begins with "CLIP" and finishes with "END". Each line is terminated with a carriage
return or a carriage return and a line feed.
