Preparing media items for playout
Note:

You need to reload the video clip to update the display of the lock status on the Asset
layout.
Batch operations with locked items
Batch operations, such as deleting multiple assets, cannot be performed if any item in a
selected group is locked.
Lock an asset
1.
Select an asset in the results pane.
2.
Click the Lock button so it shows the locked-padlock icon.
3.
Click Save.
iTX locks the asset and its media locations. You may unlock the media locations one by one.
Lock a media location
1.
Select an asset in the results pane.
2.
Under the Locations tab, display the entry for the media location you want to lock.
3.
Click the Lock button so it shows the locked-padlock icon.
4.
Click Save.
iTX locks the media location.
Unlock an asset
1.
Select an asset in the results pane.
2.
Click the Lock button so it shows the unlocked-padlock icon.
3.
Click Save.
iTX unlocks the asset and all its media locations. You may lock the media locations one by
one.
