Preparing media items for playout
Note:
•
The job service that creates proxy media files can be configured to automatically create
keyframes at the same time. You may need to check with your system administrator
whether or not your system has this functionality.
Create a set of keyframes for a video clip
1.
Select a video clip in the results pane.
2.
Click Generate Keyframes.
iTX displays a dialog showing that a job has been created.
Archive a media file to a DIVArchive
When you archive a media file, the DIVArchive copies the source media file from the Media
Store. You may manually delete the source media file from the Media Store once it is archived.

2.
Click Diva Archive.

Restore a media file from a DIVArchive
When you restore a media item, the DIVArchive places the restored media file in the iTX Inbox;
the Media Watcher registers the media file and moves it to a Media folder on the Media Store.

Select a video clip in the results pane.
2.
Click Diva Restore.
iTX displays a dialog showing that a job has been created.
Vantage jobs
If your iTX system is set up to work with a Telestream Vantage system, extra action buttons
appear under the Actions tab:
Through these buttons, you can request a Vantage job service to:
•
Transcode the media file for an asset.
•
Perform a quality-control (QC) check on the media file for asset.
•
Import the media file for an asset.
The operational steps that are to be carried out by the Vantage system are defined in Vantage
workflows; there are different workflows for different job types.
