Chapter 5 Drive Programming and Parameters
Obtaining the entire drive database is a lengthy process, during which the
interface displays the current database segment in download, and percentage
complete. If the download is successful, the interface indicates completion and
waits for user confirmation. If unsuccessful, the interface return to the screen
from which you called the function. Abort the download at any time by pressing
any key on the operator interface. Any already-downloaded segment of the
database is valid. Subsequent download requests will resume from the
termination point of the previous download.
This function always returns to the screen from which you called the function.
PCMCIA Memory Card Installation Data
Use the following instructions to insert the memory card into the card slot on the
back of the PowerFlex 7000 “B” Frame operator interface.
Installing the Memory Card
1. Locate the vertical card slot on the back of the operator interface
( Figure 248 ).

WARNING: Keep the memory card free from moisture, extreme
temperatures, and direct sunlight. Do not subject memory card to flexing
or extreme shock. Failure to observe these cautions could result in
damage to the card.
