Message Prompting

The drive stores all configuration changes in volatile memory, meaning that if the
drive loses power, it also loses record of those changes. To permanently record
changes, the drive must store configurations in NVRAM memory.

When you finish configuring drive data, the interface prompts you to save the
data as shown:

Press [F8] for 'Yes' to save the data. The interface will track the save status:

To save the data in temporary RAM only, press [F9] for 'No'. Press [F10] to return
you to the previous screen.

Store/Retrieve Configuration (NVRAM)

Save the data later by accessing the NVRAM screen from the top-level menu
(press [F5]). From the NVRAM screen you can access several drive memory
operations, if you have the proper access level. Refer to

Configuring Access Levels

on page 210

for more details.
