Chapter 5 Drive Programming and Parameters
You must use the filename extension “*.PAR” to indicate a parameter file. The file
format is:
• First Line:
– a revision number followed by a semi-colon (;). Number is not
important.
– the date followed by a semi-colon, i.e. 01/01/1996. Date is not
important.
– the time followed by a semi-colon, i.e. 12:01:01. Time is not important.
• Remaining Lines:
– each line contains one parameter, consisting of the linear parameter
number followed by a semi-colon, and the parameter value followed by
a semi-colon, as in these examples:
1;0;
2;0;
5;2;
Loading Language Modules
To use a language in the operator interface, load it into the operator interface
from the flash card.
From the TRANSFER screen, press [F5]. On the DIRECTORY screen, select or
enter an existing language module filename. Refer to

When you select a filename, the TRANSFER: LANGUAGE screen displays the
filename, the operation in progress, and showing the operation status.

IMPORTANT To edit drive operations, you must have an access level above 'Monitor'.
Press [F8] and enter the appropriate PIN to access and modify drive
operations. Refer to
Configuring Access Levels on page 210
