Upload to Memory Card
Press [F4] to read the parameters from the drive and copy to a memory card. On
the DIRECTORY screen, enter a parameter filename. Refer to
. When you enter the filename, the TRANSFER:
PARAMETERS screen displays the filename, the operation in progress, and the
current operation status.

The screen prompts for confirmation. Press [F8] to proceed, or [F9] to abort.
Press [F4] to restart an aborted transfer or one that failed. To select or enter a
different filename, press [F7].
Download from Memory Card
Press [F2] to copy the parameters from a flash card to the drive. On the
DIRECTORY screen, select or enter an existing parameter filename. Refer
to
Select/Enter a Filename on page 241
. When you enter the filename, the

show “FILE TO DRIVE”) displays the filename, the operation in progress, the
current operation status.

Parameter File Format
The stored parameter file on the flash card is in a DOS file format. You can create
the parameter file off-line on a PC using any ASCII text editor, then copy it to
the memory card via a PCMCIA card drive.
This section is not necessary to operate the interface. It is required knowledge if
you wish to create a parameter file off-line and then download into a drive.
