Chapter 5 Drive Programming and Parameters
Some data is HEX-only. For HEX values, use

or
▼
to scroll through values 0-
F for the right most digit. To accept the first digit and select a value for the
second, press
►
. Press [Enter] to accept the value. Edit HEX values by pressing
[Backspace].
The interface does not implement new values until you press [F10] to exit the
screen. Prior to this you can modify the new value by repeating the above
procedure, or cancel by pressing [F7]. Cancelling returns the option to the
original value.
Enumerated Value
For enumerated value parameters, the MODIFY PARAMETER screen looks
like this:

This screen contains:
• the name of the selected parameter (i.e. Operating Mode)
• the parameter tag code (i.e. 4)
• the current parameter value
IMPORTANT The interface does not implement new values until you press [F10] to exit
the screen. Prior to this you can modify the new value by repeating the
above procedure, or cancel by pressing [F7]. Cancelling returns the option
to the original value.
IMPORTANT To edit ANY parameter, you must have an access level above 'Monitor'.
Press [F8] and enter the appropriate PIN to access and modify drive
parameters. Refer to
Configuring Access Levels on page 210
for more
information on access security.
