Chapter 5 Drive Programming and Parameters

To change a mask state on the FAULTS OVERVIEW screen, use

to

select the desired mask and press [Enter]. In the first sample in

Figure 202

above,

“AC O/V” is selected and disabled. Pressing [Enter] enables its mask and removes
it from this screen. Pressing [F7] toggles the screen to show the enabled faults,
including the enabled AC O/V mask.

User-Definable External Text

You can customize the text for the drive’s external fault inputs, which the
interface uses on the alarm and the fault mask screens. To customize the text,
select 'External Text' on the SETUP screen.

To modify the text attached to a particular fault input, use

or

to select an

input and press

. This highlights the first character in the string.

IMPORTANT To edit ANY parameter, you must have an access level above 'Monitor'.

Press [F8] and enter the appropriate PIN to access and modify drive
parameters. Refer to

Configuring Access Levels on page 210

for more

information on access security.

IMPORTANT The interface does not implement new values until you exit the screen.

Prior to this you can modify the new value by repeating the above
procedure, or cancel by pressing [F7]. Cancelling returns the option to the
original value.
