64. By using a puller, take out the bearing (M8) from the
motor shaft (M9).
65. By using a screwdriver remove the back-up ring (21)
from its seat in the flanged hub (18).
INFORMATION
DISASSEMBLE THE BACK-UP RING (21) ONLY IN
CASE OF REPLACEMENT, BECAUSE THIS WILL DAM-
AGE IT.
INFORMATION
THE DISASSEMBLY ENDS WITH THE ABOVE OPERA-
TION. ALL ITEMS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE
NECESSARY INSPECTIONS.
EVALUATION THAT PIECES TO REPLACE
The pieces that are subject to general wear and tear are
the following:
Gears
Pinion shaft
Bearings
Seals
Replace the used or irregular parts respecting the follow-
ing steps:
1. Accurately remove dirt, and in particular properly
clean the seals, bearings and locking rings seating.
2. Lubricate the parts before connecting them.
3. In the case of damaged gears, for example a plane-
tary, do not proceed to replace the individual gear
but the entire reduction assembly.
4. When reconnecting a part always replace all the
seals involved.
5. Replace all the damaged parts with original spare
parts.
