Color: Color controls that set the color of the light shapes. For more precise color selection,
click the disclosure triangle to display Red, Green, and Blue sliders.
Cellular
The Cellular generator creates an animated pattern that looks like cells moving under a
microscope. You can change the color, size, and speed of the cells.

Parameters in the Inspector

Size: A slider that sets the size of cells in the pattern. Values range from 3 to 64.

Speed: A slider that sets the speed of movement of cells. Values range from 0 to 2.

Gradient: Controls that set the color gradient used for cells. For information on using gradients,

Gradient editor on page 135.
Checkerboard
The Checkerboard generator creates a static checkerboard pattern. The contrast, color, size, and
position of checkerboard squares can be edited and keyframed.

Center: Value sliders that set the center of the generator. (You can also use the Adjust Item
tool to adjust this parameter via onscreen controls. For more information, see

Color 1: Color controls that set the first color in the checkerboard. For more precise color
selection, click the disclosure triangle to display Red, Green, Blue, and Opacity sliders.

Color 2: Color controls that set the second color in the checkerboard. For more precise color
selection, click the disclosure triangle to display Red, Green, Blue, and Opacity sliders.

Size: A slider that sets the size of the squares in the checkerboard. Values range from 0 to 800.
