] = CR/LF (carriage return/line feed)
} or ¦ = Carriage return (no line feed, hex 0D)

* = Asterisk character (which is a command character, not a variable)
E or W = Escape
X! = Input selection: 1 through 3 (2 and 3 applicable for EDID only)
X@ = Output selection
2 = Analog only (VGA loop)
3 = Digital only (DVI loop)
X# = Input video format
1 = RGB (default)
2 = YUVp / YUV-HD
3 = RGBcvS
4 = YUVi
5 = S-video
6 = Composite
9 = DVI
11 = Autodetect
X$ = Horziontal / Vertical start: 0 through 255 (default midpoint of 128 translates to
the default value in the input lookup tables)
X^ = Pixel phase: 0 through 31 (default = 16)
X& = Total pixels (±512 of the default value for high resolution video and ±127 for
interlaced video; depends on resolutions)
X* = Active pixels (±512 of the default value for high resolution video and ±127 for
