Using the Synchronized SME 100 and Matrix Switcher
Ensure the following is done when using the SME 100 with the matrix switcher:
•
Perform all input switching using the matrix switcher. A one second RGB delay on the
matrix switcher is recommended to minimize the appearance of a glitch in the output
while the SME 100 locks onto the new signal.
•
The SME 100 senses when the matrix switcher changes input ties and the SME 100
automatically recalls the matching input preset (input presets do not need to be recalled
manually).
•
The SME 100 and the matrix switcher must remain on the same subnet (subnet is
represented using bold
x letters: 192.168.xxx.xxx). Do not change the network settings
of the matrix switcher. If the network settings on the matrix switcher are changed,
repeat the
procedure (see page 109).
Disabling Sync to Matrix
If the Sync to Matrix feature is no longer being used, select
Disable
from the
Enabled/Disabled
radio buttons (see item d in
on the previous page).
