To use this page, click on the
Select Role to Edit
drop-down menu and click on the
desired role that requires editing. Two roles are available for editing.
•
Admin — Select this role to edit the Live View page seen by administrators.
•
Viewer — Select this role to edit the Live View page seen by viewers / users.
Each role contains the following configuration options.

VLC/SMP Specific panel
NOTE: This panel is grayed out if the QuickTime player is selected as the default
media player.
•
Toolbar Items — The following options are used to configure the control options
that are visible on the stream toolbar.
•
Input Button (Admin Only) — Selecting this check box displays the input
button
on the Live View page player window. This button allows the user to
choose the desired stream to view.

Status Button — Selecting this check box displays the status button

the Live View page player window. This button allows the user to view the
status of the stream.
•
Auto Restart Stream (Live view page only) — Select this check box to
automatically reconfigure and restart the stream when the profile type, profile level,
video output resolution, stream mode, or stream method is changed. For example,
if the video output resolution is changed while the stream is being viewed, the
window automatically reconfigures and restarts the stream with the new output
resolution.

Video Init Time (sec) — This drop-down menu is used to set the amount of
time (in seconds) taken to initialize stream playback. For example, if 5 is selected,
pressing the
Play
button to view the stream forces the SME 100 to wait (initialize
the stream) for five seconds before displaying the stream. The range of settings is
0 to 60 in one second intervals. Default is 5 seconds.
•
Cache Time (millisec) — This drop-down menu is used to set the amount of
jitter buffer used by the media player. The range of settings is 200 to 5000 msec in
100 millisecond intervals.

Default Player panel
This panel is used to select the media player that will be used to view streams on the
Live View page.
•
SMP — Select this radio button to use the SMP web browser plugin.
•
VLC — Select this radio button to use the VLC plugin.
•
QuickTime — Select this radio button to use the QuickTime plugin.
