Using Encoding Presets
The Encoding Presets panel is used to recall and save presets. Saving a preset saves the
current set of encoding parameters for the current output stream. Recalling a preset recalls
and applies a saved preset to the current output stream. Encoding presets allow the user to
quickly switch between various encoder profiles based on the target resolution or bit rate.
Sixteen available encoding presets are used to recall or save settings. The table below details
the settings that are saved and recalled in an encoding preset.

To recall an encoding preset
1.
Select the desired preset from the
Preset
drop-down menu (see item g in
).

Click the
Recall
button to recall the selected preset.
NOTE: The preset is not recalled if the
Recall
button is not clicked.
To save an encoding preset
1.
Select the desired parameters in the Encoder Configuration panel (see item c in
