Packet Type Value

identifies the packet type:

00

= unknown packet type

01

= RIP packet

04

= SAP packet

05

= SPX (Sequenced Packet Exchange) packet

11

= NCP (NetWare Core Protocol) packet

14

= Propagated packet, used for NetBIOS (an IBM protocol that performs

transport- and session-layer tasks)

Destination Network Value

is the network number of the destination node's network. The internetwork address is
the network number followed by the socket number.

Destination Node Value

is the physical address of the destination node. The node's internetwork address is the
network number followed by the node address followed by the socket number.

Destination Socket Value

is the socket address of the packet's destination process.

Source Network Value

is the network number of the source node's network.

Source Node Value

is the physical address of the source node.

Source Socket Value

is the socket address of the packet's source process.

Filter Name

helps the user identify the filter. The name is not used by the software.

Router Address Value

identifies the router to which the filter will apply.
