IPX Node Defaults Parameters

Internal Network

identifies the node to the IPX network. If fewer than 8 hex digits are entered, leading
zeros will be added.

Gap

is the minimum delay between consecutive RIP and SAP (Service Advertising Pro-
tocol) transmissions. This parameter provides compatibility with older Novell servers.

Router Name

is simply an identifier for the IPX network. It must be unique within the network.
