Roadlights Hazard Signals Indicator Troubleshooting

Hazard lights indicator
does not work when the
hazard lights are ON.
Not
OK
Check that
wire 27 (VIO/WHT) to
wire 155 (GRN/RED)
connection is made. If
the connection was
made, check that
pulsing battery voltage
is present at
wire 27 (VIO/WHT) at
the connector.
If OK

Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. Fuses.
2. Battery for proper charge.
3. All connections relating to
circuit are clean and tight.
4. Check instrument cluster
bulbs for proper function.
Replace roadlight harness.
Check for pulsing battery
voltage at flasher pin P,
wire 27 (VIO/WHT).
If OK
Reconnect the
wire 27 (VIO/WHT) and
wire 155 (GRN/RED)
connectors. Disconnect
instrument panel plug and
check for pulsing battery
voltage on pin 15.
If OK
Replace bulb in
instrument panel.
